Fleischman

Fleischman, Luis

Luis Fleischman, Ph.D., earned his master's and doctoral degrees in sociology from the New School for Social Research in New York City and a bachelor's degree in political science from Tel Aviv University. He is currently a professor of sociology at Palm Beach State College. Previously he worked for the Jewish Federations of Palm Beach County as Vice President for Community and Political Relations, where he worked on issues related to the Middle East, U.S. national security, and domestic issues. Fleischman is the author of “Latin America in the Post-Chavez Era: The Threat to the U.S. Security”; and “The Middle East Riddle: A Study of the Middle East Peace Process and Israeli-Arab Relations in Changing Times”, (2021). He is the founding co-president of the Palm Beach Center for Democracy and Policy Research.

Friedman, Ron

Ron Friedman is an accomplished professional with strong credentials in non-profits, the private sector, and the public services arena. His disciplines include leadership, management, marketing, strategic planning, and fundraising. In the private sector, he was Vice President of Marketing for American Express Card for the merchant categories and headed task forces for the Chairman and CEO. Previously, he served in account management positions in major advertising agencies. In the non-profit sector, he created and led a team for Operation Exodus for United Jewish Appeal (now called Jewish Federations of North America), which culminated in rescuing approximately 1 million Jews from the Former Soviet Union and resettling them in Israel with about $1 billion raised in support of the effort. He was Managing Director of the State of Israel Bonds and Chief Operating Officer of the Anti-Defamation League. His consulting experience includes health care, where he created and led a private sector team that identified $500 million in net revenues/savings for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, the largest municipal health care system in the U.S. Ron served as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration. He earned an MBA with Distinction from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration and graduated first in his class. Ron has a B.A. from Brooklyn College. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard.
