Course Description
Most people think Improv is either standup comedy or "Whose Line Is It Anyway." True improv is much more than that. True improvisers create great scenes spontaneously. You don't have to be funny, clever, or even outgoing. All you need to be is human. In this series, you'll learn a few simple, basic techniques and tools. And in no time, you'll be performing fun, funny, rewarding improvised scenes and ultimately little plays or other improvised pieces. There are no jokes, no props, no costumes—just a couple of chairs, a stage, and humans being human poking fun at our humanity. You can do this! Space is limited.Lectures
