Course Description
Well-being incorporates aspects of our physical and emotional health that, when balanced, can lead to a better quality of life. For most of us, flourishing in our lives is the ultimate goal. Flourishing moves beyond the confines of simple happiness or well-being. It encompasses a wide range of positive psychological constructs and offers a more holistic perspective on what it means to feel well and happy. In this seminar, Dr. Jones will help define flourishing from a scientific perspective, present current research findings, offer ways humans may flourish, and introduce practical applications to improve daily life and achieve the "good life." This event can be highly beneficial alone but will be enhanced with the other Science of Wellness programs: the Science of Happiness and the Science of Gratitude.
