There will be no 15-second, made-for-TV sound bites this afternoon! Two experienced
policymakers are set to discuss current domestic and foreign policy issues in a thoughtprovoking and engaging manner. As a six-term Congressman, Ted Deutch will leverage his vast Congressional knowledge and experience to bring insight and context to pressing issues raised by, and discussed with, Dr. Ralph Nurnberger, a Washington insider of a different sort, with over 30 years of government relations experience. Issues discussed will be determined based on legislative hot topics currently before the 116th Congress as well as pressing domestic and foreign affairs.

About the Instructor
Ralph Nurnberger, PhD taught History and International Relations at Georgetown University for 38 years. He received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Graduate School of Liberal Studies in 2003. Nurnberger served on the professional staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Legislative Liaison for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). He received his BA from Queens College, his MA from Columbia University and his PhD from Georgetown University.
