Course DescriptionThe repertoire to be performed will include works by giants in classical music composition: Mozart, Schumann, Bruch, Kurtag, Monti and more. There will be a combination of standard performance and informative discussion and description before each piece to provide historical and musical context to the work, in order to enhance the audiences' experience. Programs will be distributed.

About the Instructor
Stojo Miserlioski, a native Macedonian, first started playing the clarinet at the age of eleven. He has since won many national and international competitions. He is equally at home as a soloist, recitalist, in the orchestra or in a chamber setting. His performance engagements have taken him all over Europe and North America. He is currently working as a freelance musician and a clarinet professor in South Florida. Besides playing classical music, Miserlioski is also passionate about teaching, playing Klezmer, and practicing Yoga. In addition to his private studio teaching, he holds the clarinet position at FAU in Boca Raton, Florida. Miserlioski is an Artist-Clinician for Buffet Crampon and Silverstein Works.
Pianist Sheng-Yuan Kuan has received accolades from many competitions, including the 13th Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna (Best Female Pianist Award, 2009), the 12th Taipei Chopin International Piano Competition (3rd Prize, 2008), Corpus Christi International Competition in Texas (2nd Prize, 2008), and New York Kosciuszko Chopin Piano Competition (3rd Prize, 2003). Currently serving as the keyboard faculty and staff collaborative pianist at Lynn University’s Conservatory of Music, as well as a member of the Florida-based Scherzo Trio, Con Brio Ensemble and the A’s Duo, Kuan holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Yale School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music.
Violist, born in Reynosa, Mexico, David Pedraza started his musical studies at 14 in the OCJM under Jose Vazquez. Pedraza holds a Professional Performance Certificate from Lynn University Conservatory of Music and recently he finished his Master of Music at the same institution with a full scholarship. Recently he performed the Bartok Viola Concerto with the Orquesta Sinfonica de la UAT. Pedraza has performed in many countries: Mexico, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Spain, France, Switzerland and the UK. Currently he is part of the Con Brio Quartet, and Principal Viola with Symphony of the Americas.
