Course Description

Your breath, your movement and your mind are all restorative resources just waiting to be tapped. Learn the techniques and skill you need to benefit from the power you hold within to bring calm, wellbeing and, peace to your daily life.


  1. Breath Awareness: Breath awareness is critical to overall wellness. Simple breath techniques can be used anywhere and anytime in our lives to calm ourselves when life gets stressful. 
  2. Body Awareness: Explore different mindfulness meditation techniques and how they can be combined with a gentle movement practice to incorporate into everyday life.
  3. Mind Awareness: Explore various styles of mindfulness that can help to calm the whole nervous system.
  4. Putting it all Together: Achieve overall wellness through breath, body and mindful practices to bring peace into the world around you.

About the Instructor

  • Yoga Journey presents Ruth Sanders, ERYT 500HR Yoga, and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. Her classes and trainings are accessible to all levels with an emphasis on centering through breathwork. She teaches a variety of Yoga and Meditation styles, but the common thread throughout all her classes is adapting and modifying the practice for all students. Sanders is certified with the Yoga Alliance as an ERYT500, is certified in Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha, and Vinyasa Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, and holds yoga certification with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
