Program Details
Course Description
The Olli FAU Book Club presents a new twist on the traditional book club. Opening the program with an in-costume performance of the protagonist telling their story, Rubin then discusses the author's background, the inspiration for the book, and an analysis of themes such as friendship, guilt, and resilience. The novel "Immodest" by L.S. Einat will be the focus of this very interactive program. Rubin presents deep reflective, and thought-provoking questions. Her background in communication, life coaching, and positive psychology is a backdrop for the discussions. As such, the participants examine human behavior in terms of the concepts introduced and connect them to the characters, the story, and their own lives.Course Info
