Putin and Xi: Twin Killers or World Leaders?

Robert G. Rabil
Current Events / Politics
Video Catch-up

Course Description

The moment American President Joseph Biden Jr. affirmed during an interview with ABC that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a killer, whispers flooded Washington’s societal and bureaucratic corridors that Putin has a twin brother in “killing,” President Xi Jinping of China. Real, inappropriate or illusory, this view obscures the fact that these two leaders, whose world outlooks have been shaped by the history of their nations, are shaping our geopolitical world. This lecture questions the “morality” of their leadership in an amoral geopolitical world, their relationship, and probes why and how American leaders should view them.
