Course DescriptionAnother in Hagood's series that blends travel, history, culture, literature, music, art, and even ghost stories, this program presents the oldest city in the United States, St. Augustine. The city's story is replete with conquistadors, pirates, magnates, artists, and, of course...the Fountain of Youth! No mere touristic guide, this presentation will contextualize the city historically and culturally, showing its importance throughout centuries and in the present moment.
