Course DescriptionIn a continuation of Hagood's series that examines the famous and not-so-famous events, people, and places of cities, this program will bring to life Charleston, South Carolina. A city with a fabled history that reaches back into the early colonial days, Charleston blends grace and beauty with a haunting past. We will dip into that past, considering the city's wonderful restaurants, its chic style, its authors, and its many out-of-the-way stories of lovers and ghosts, duelists and artists.
