Course DescriptionJoin Jeffrey Morton, PhD for this special one-time lecture that traces the evolution of world politics over the course of the past twenty years and looks forward to what the world will look like twenty years from now. Will the world be teaming with nuclear weapons? What will countries like Russia, China, Israel, among others, look like? What will be the role of the United States in world affairs in 2040? These and many other issues will be examined in this one-time lecture. In celebration of the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College 20th anniversary, OLLI at FAU, Jupiter has partnered with the Honors College for this presentation. Part of the proceeds from this special lecture will support undergraduate scholarships for students in the Harriett L. Wilkes Honors College.

About the Instructor
Jeffrey S. Morton, PhD is a professor of political science, a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association and recipient of the prestigious FPA Medal, which is bestowed upon leading members of the American foreign policy establishment. He has been honored with numerous university awards and has contributed to articles that have appeared in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times.
