Course Description
Do you have an opinion about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? Are they victims of a coldhearted Palace seeking to punish them for walking away from Royal duties? Or are they self-centered whiners hoping to cash in on America's fascination with the British Royal family? Join Dr. Margery Marcus for an analysis of the most up-to-date theories about the Royal couple and their blood feud with the Palace. Was William really behind Harry donning a Nazi uniform to a costume party? Did the Palace feed stories to the tabloids to deflect from William's bad behavior? Rather than clearing the air, Harry's own memoir, "Spare," casts him in a negative light, according to several British Royal watchers. Dr. Marcus will present a brief update on the latest on Harry and Meghan, then lead a conversation with class members giving everyone an opportunity to weigh in and share perspectives. This lecture includes a colorful PowerPoint with video clips. Space is limited. "The instructor was excellent!!!! I really enjoyed her class!!! " - OLLI PatronCourse Info
