Course DescriptionOprah Winfrey is a media mogul, actress, talk show host, television producer, and philanthropist with international recognition and influence. Martha Stewart is a famous television personality, a businesses woman, a best-selling author, and a woman entering her 80s with excitement about life. Each woman has overcome many obstacles to reach her status as a woman of power and accomplishment. Learn about their early lives and particularly the difficult childhood Oprah Winfrey endured. Find out how each woman's decisions and various careers led to later successes. Discover how their personal relationships impacted their lives and what they are currently doing. Oprah and Martha are two amazing women who have influenced many, including those who hope to emulate these powerful and accomplished women. About the Instructor
Rose Feinberg, Ed.D.,earned her doctoral degree in education from Boston University. She was a school principal in Massachusetts, as well as a respected lecturer. She served as an adjunct faculty member at FAU for eight years, teaching graduate courses in curriculum and school administration. She is a well-known lecturer in South Florida and has developed many topics for presentations, which include PowerPoint presentations with pictures and videos. Her lectures are extensively researched and her theater training and personality make her a dynamic lecturer.
