Course Description
Join your fellow OLLI patrons as we explore History Fort Lauderdale! This docent-led tour includes the Main Museum with its three floors of history and art to explore, the Pioneer House Museum set as if a family will return home any moment for Sunday supper, and the 1899 Schoolhouse Museum with its wooden desks and McGuffey readers. Explore the significant and inspiring people, places, and events that shaped Fort Lauderdale's past and continue to influence the future of this vibrant city. After the tour, extend your excursion by visiting one of the many local restaurants or stroll along the lovely New River. History Fort Lauderdale is located at 219 SW 2nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and wear comfortable shoes. It is sure to be a lovely day for all! The deadline to register is Tuesday, Novemeber 7th. Space is limited!Course Info
