"Chi" Meditation: Tai Chi - Qigong - Meditation

Course Description

"Chi” Meditation incorporates the movements of body, mind, and breath. This practice consists of movements and principles of tai chi, Qigong, and meditation. “Chi” Meditation, when practiced regularly (preferably daily), will relieve the stress and tension that disturbs your body and mind. Through daily practice, one can improve strength, balance, coordination, focus, concentration, and overall well-being. Participants will start with warm-up exercises to awaken their energy body and improve flexibility. They will learn natural ways of healthy breathing, Qigong, and the Tai Chi 8-posture movement form. Each session will end with sitting meditation. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Space is limited.

About the Instructor

  • Sifu (teacher) Gary Tong is a master instructor in Tai Chi and Qigong. Gary teaches Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and LAMAS Qi Gong, a medical form of Qigong for the prevention and healing of various illnesses and diseases. Gary Tong is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida where he practices Chi Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork. Sifu Gary is also a member of the “Healing Society" and “World Tai Chi and Qigong” Organizations, promoting global health and wellness, through the healing arts of Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Kung (Qigong), Tao Yoga, and Meditation.
